DESIGNING ELEGANCE
A Jean-Jacques Coste and EE38 Creative collaboration.
“Electric propulsion is the future. The invitation to be a part of creating a classic motor yacht from the perspective of pure elegance, with a fully electric propulsion system was something I had to say yes to”.
From the initial, quite random meeting in Porto Cervo, to the phone conversations that followed, a rendezvous at the Monaco Yacht Show to the decisive meeting at the Cannes Yacht Club where we knew we had to do this, to work together. The connection with Jean-Jacques was all along very much a natural fit. At the time, Jean-Jacques was designing his own, as he refers to it as; “a wooden classic”, an in every way very elegant shape, which together with inspiration from some of the lines of his Galaxy of Happiness, (just check out the sharp bow), along with the original concept we brought with us served as the blueprint for what became Electric Elegance. A title that had been minted some years prior to the start of the design process which fit the vision perfectly.

SERENA - The interior of the Electric Elegance
“Our objective was to create an expression that combined the traditional Italian heritage of yachting interiors with contemporary design language filtered through our approach and distinctive passion for the care of the details”.
-Aldo Parisotto for Parisotto+Formenton
Interior design partner - Electric Elegance
“After our initial meeting, accepting Aldo's offer to create the Electric Elegance interior concept was a given, a natural step. His feel for elegance, and how to use the available space lined up perfectly with the overall vision. What he delivered was a concept of Pure Elegance”.
